More about the performers:

Jon Pearson (MC) began stand-up comedy in 2010, with his first performance at Birmingham's Highlight Comedy Club. Two successful Edinburgh shows later, and 5 years working the UK comedy circuit, Jon is now regularly found at the biggest and best comedy clubs across the UK including The Glee Club, The Comedy Store and Jongleurs, both as an act and a compere. His 2015 Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival show, Jon Pearson: Tall Order, sold out at Melton Theatre within 2 weeks of tickets going on sale. Jon's laid-back storytelling has audiences hanging on his every word. With tales based around his own life experiences, his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have people in hysterics. Based in the Midlands, Jon is the resident MC at his own comedy night Wax Comical at The Noels Arms in Melton Mowbray.

"Very tall and hugely funny" - Lucy Porter.

"A natural ability for working an audience" - EdFringeReview.com.

Sean Meo has been a stand-up comic since 1989. Prior to that, he had been a full-time snooker player and was a quarter finalist in the English Amateur Championships of 1987. He has risen to the very top of the UK comedy scene and regularly headlines at The Comedy Store where he is a leading member of The Cutting Edge. Starting 1998 as Time Out Comic Of The Year, he appeared at the Kilkenny, Cork and Montreal Comedy Festivals and made his Edinburgh Festival debut in Catch 23.

“He can turn out intelligent material with a speed that many other comics can only gasp at.” Time Out.

“Truly hilarious.” The Scotsman.

Since starting gigging in 2016, Joseph Emslie has been the number one go-to gluten free comic on the circuit. His easy conversational manner, anecdotal, and sometimes self-deprecating, style of comedy has helped him secure him some early critical acclaim by taking the runner up place in the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2021. Twinning this with his other final successes he really is “definitely a name to keep tabs on” (Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke). In 2019 Joseph took a work-in-progress show, 'In Bread with Joseph Emslie' to the Edinburgh Fringe. The sold-out show received extremely positive feedback and featured on the front page of The Scotsman. Far from taking a break in the pandemic, Joseph took the opportunity to start, and grow, his TikTok account to over 15,000 followers, well over 1 million views and just shy of half a million likes on all his videos combined. He also co-hosts a comedy podcast called BillyJoeMates that takes comedians back to school to resit a subject of their choosing.

“Definitely a name to keep tabs on” Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke.

“Radiating comic innocence and making great play on his schoolboy looks” Chortle.
