Ticketing options for Allendale Centre hirers

If you're presenting a show or event that requires ticketing, there are a number of options:

1. You can handle all advance and on the door (OTD) ticketing yourself.

2. You can supply paper tickets to us, to sell at Reception*.

3. You can ask us to sell tickets through Ticketsource*. This option allows customers to book online, with a small booking fee payable by the customer, or to book in person at the Allendale (no booking fee, cash and card payments accepted). Your Ticketsource listing would appear on this page, forwarding to an individual event page.

4. You can sell some tickets and ask us to sell some for you* - as long as we agree numbers so that we don't sell over capacity.

(*Fees apply. Please note that we cannot process ticket sales over the phone.)

What do you need to think about before tickets go on sale?

  • Seating layout (if appropriate). In the Minster Hall and Quarter Jack Hall, the main options are theatre, herringbone, cabaret, thrust, in-the-round, boardroom or banqueting style.

  • Total number of tickets for sale - capacity will vary depending on seating layout.

  • Do you need allocated seating (each seat numbered) or unallocated (no seats numbered)?

  • If not allocated as such, do you want some seats at premium price and others at standard price?

  • Different prices for adult, child (under 16) and concession (usually over 60)?

  • Early Bird prices, i.e. reduced prices if booked by a certain date?

  • Different advance and on the door (OTD) prices?

We can advise further, but it's worth thinking about these options in advance.

Please note the following information, displayed to customers on our Tickets page.

Any such complimentary tickets would be drawn from your total tickets on sale:
