If you're presenting an event that requires ticketing...

  • You can handle advance and/or on the door (OTD) ticketing yourself

  • You can ask us to sell all advance (and OTD, if required) tickets through TicketSource*

    • Customers can book online (small booking fee payable by the customer), over the phone or in person at the Allendale (cash and card payments accepted)

    • There's also the option for customers to book at the Allendale only (not listed or bookable online)

  • You can sell some tickets and ask us to sell some for you* - as long as we agree numbers so that we don't sell over capacity

(*Fees apply - see below)

Before tickets go on sale, have a think about...

  • seating layout (if appropriate): in the Minster Hall and Quarter Jack Hall, the main options are theatre, herringbone, cabaret, thrust, in-the-round, boardroom or banqueting style

  • total number of tickets for sale - capacity will depend on seating/tables/any other furniture on the floor

  • allocated seating (seats numbered) or unallocated?

  • different prices for adult, child (under 16) and concession (usually over 60)?

  • Early Bird prices, i.e. reduced prices if booked by a certain date?

We can advise further, but it's worth thinking about these options in advance.

Ticket handling fees charged to the hirer (applicable from 1/10/22)
