20 To 1 Big Band presents
Lights, Camera, Music!
Saturday 26th July, 7.30pm
20 To 1 Big Band will be hosting an evening concert featuring music from the world of Film, TV and Musicals. This fundraising concert will be in aid of Forest Holme Hospice. Admission is Free, with a retiring collection for the charity. Doors open at 7pm, with the concert starting at 7.30. Licensed bar will also be available when the doors open and during the interval.

Bob Barter Quintet with Jenny Howe

Always popular here at the Allendale, the Bob Barter Quintet with vocalist Jenny Howe return on Sunday 27th July. This time in the Quarter Jack Hall, with plenty of opening windows, and curtains, if the weather's warm.
Tickets are sometimes available on the door for this Quintet, but advance booking's strongly recommended. Sit back and enjoy a summer's afternoon of great jazz!

The Fifty One

Join The Fifty One, a local original pop-prog band as they premiere their debut EP 'Man in the Wall'. The evening will begin with a set of exciting popular covers from various genres including rock, pop, funk, soul and more, taking you on a journey through the decades. This will be followed by the first ever complete live performance of their debut EP. This is an evening you don't want to miss!

Grass Roots Theatre Company presents The Extraordinary Revelations of Orca the Goldfish and Women Only. Read more here.

Voulez Two - A tribute to ABBA and the 70s

Voulez Two are the dynamic duo of Emma and Chelsea, local performers united by big voices, bigger personalities, and a shared mission to make people smile. Together, they bring the iconic sounds of ABBA and disco classics to life in a show bursting with feel-good energy and a healthy dash of cheeky humour. Expect sparkling harmonies, fabulous costumes, and all your favourite hits that’ll have you singing along and maybe even perfecting your best “Dancing Queen” moves.

Labradors Rock! 2025

It’s been six long years since Spinal Taff headlined The Allendale, but now they’re back with a fresh new lineup and ready to ‘Rock You Like a Hurricane’, with a stellar set of rock and heavy metal classics, and this time, it’s all in aid of The Labrador Rescue Trust.
The band are joined by special guests, Mike & The Mojitos who, inspired by the sounds of Funk, Soul and Disco, take popular songs from across the ages and transform them into groovy arrangements, so you can sing and dance to the songs you've heard many times before, but with a fresh new coat of paint!
Quo Connection

The authentic and approved sound of classic 70s QUO! Formed by ex-Status Quo drummer John Coghlan, the band has existed for twenty-five years in various forms. Mick Hughes, Rick Chase, Pete Mace and Russ Chadd have reformed John Coghlan’s Quo under the new name of QUO CONNECTION. Playing many of Status Quo’s hits plus some incredible album tracks, Quo Connection are eager to bring their high-octane show to you! The band provided an outstanding quality performance at the Allendale in 2024, with excellent reviews, and are returning with their new 2025 tour.

Fleetwood Mad

We're thrilled to welcome Fleetwood Mad - the ultimate Fleetwood Mac Experience.
Fleetwood Mad are the sensational and exciting band recreating an authentic Fleetwood Mac experience. Created out of a passion for Fleetwood Mac and their music, Fleetwood Mad quickly secured their place as one of the "must see" Fleetwood Mac bands. With a huge flashback to the Peter Green era and all of the other big hits (along with great visuals and costume changes of course), Fleetwood Mad take you on a 2-hour theatrical journey exploring the magic of Fleetwood Mac.

Join worldwide best-selling author Alexander McCall Smith for an afternoon of sheer delight!
The master storyteller will entertain you with tales from the latest 44 Scotland Street novel, Bertie's Theory of Ice Cream, and discuss In the Time of Five Pumpkins, the new novel in the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series. An event not to be missed!

Dance The Night Away

20 To 1 Big Band will once again be returning to the Allendale, hosting an evening of live music. Whether you’d prefer to sit and listen or get up on the floor and dance your favourite routine, the choice is yours!
The band will play a variety of music styles to suit your dance or listening preferences. There will be Swing numbers suitable for dancing the Foxtrot, Quickstep and Jive. The programme will also include Latin, Waltz and Rock & Pop songs from the 50s era. Come and join us for a fun filled evening, where the Big Band will be your soundtrack for the night!

Due to huge demand, guitarist Richard Smith returns to the Allendale this November.
Were you here for his concert in 2024? Then we don't need to tell you what an amazing talent this man is, and we're delighted to have him back.
Richard is very ably supported by (much more local) Bob Carter, himself an extraordinary guitar player. Two superb musicians on one evening!

The Sounds of Simon

The Sounds of Simon is a tribute to the wonderful music of Simon & Garfunkel.
Lose yourself to nostalgia with such classics as Mrs Robinson, The Boxer, The Sound of Silence and Bridge Over Troubled Water, as well as all the others that have established Paul Simon as one of the most successful songwriters of all time.
Paul and Art are played to perfection, bringing in elements of their famously fractious relationship, as well as replicating the beautiful harmonies flawlessly. This is a wonderful show filled with excellent music, nostalgia and a genuine love for some great musicians. www.soundsofsimon.co.uk

Cydonia Knights are a regular favourite at the Allendale, following superb performances in recent years. A tribute to one of the world's biggest rock bands, 'MUSE', Cydonia Knights are a band formed by Muse fans, for Muse fans, performing an unparalleled Muse experience as close to the real thing as possible. The band take pride in their meticulous attention to detail. Supermassive Black Hole, Uprising, Algorithm, Reapers, Compliance and many, many more of the very best Muse tracks are performed with unprecedented accuracy. A night to look forward to!
