Bournemouth Orchid Society Show and Trade Fair
Saturday 30th September, 12pm - 4pm
Bournemouth Orchid Society are delighted to be staging our family inclusive Autumn Show, designed to provide a unique and engaging experience for the whole family. Be you novices or truly experienced growers of plants, our talented members will be staging many differing orchids, providing colour, intrigue and scent, supplemented by advice in abundance. Orchids other than those generally offered by local traders will be available.
For those interested in the environment, we are staging a family interactive learning zone where you can see into the macro as well as the massive regarding orchids. There will be free family inclusive crafts and quizzes etc. and access to microscopes, all backed up by a wealth of knowledge regarding all things orchid.

Green Week Catwalk Fashion Show
Monday 16th October, 7pm
As part of this year’s Wimborne Green Festival, we're holding a fashion show on Monday 16th October. The aim is to show and/or offer for sale upcycled garments as well as garments made from offcut fabrics or other recycled materials, to promote green living and reducing waste.
Central Southern Gauge O Model Railway Exhibition
Sunday 22nd October, 10am to 4pm
The Allendale is the home of the Central Southern Gauge O Group (CSGOG) and they are pleased to announce their annual O Gauge Model Railway Exhibition on Sunday 22nd October.
A particular attraction for the children this year will be a very large LEGO WORLD train layout with lots of trains running around. For the more discerning model railway enthusiast there will be ten layouts including some 7mm scale narrow gauge models. As usual they will have their large test track, thirteen model railway sales stands, a bring & buy stall and railway societies, including the Swanage Railway. Admittance is only £6 with accompanied young children free. Doors open from 10am until 4pm.
Dorset Team Winter Fair
Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th November, 10am - 4pm both days FREE ENTRY
The Dorset Team return to the Allendale Centre for their ever-popular Winter Fair.
Dorset Team Etsy sellers and other creatives will join us for this event selling handmade, vintage and crafting supplies.
The event fills the Minster Hall and the Quarter Jack Hall of the Allendale, with something for everyone and every budget.
