Viva Voce presents I Write the Songs

Award winning Viva Voce Choir is returning to the Allendale! Their members just love to sing and their music is always a mixture of fun, foot tapping songs and heart lifting harmonies. Each year they share their music through the community, supporting local charities. This special fundraising concert, ‘I Write The Songs’, will be in support of High Mead Farm, a supported work environment for those with disabilities, suffering from mental health issues and recovering from illness.

The Wimborne Valognes Twinning Association proudly present a French flavour community variety entertainment from schools and groups in the Wimborne area featuring music, singing and dance to celebrate the town’s twinning association.
Since 1968 the WVTA have been arranging friendship, sporting and cultural exchange visits with our twin town of Valognes, 12 miles down the lovely, historic Cherbourg peninsular. We also have an exciting and varied array of activities throughout the year here in Wimborne.

Stringfever and Friends
Sunday 22nd October, 7.30pm
Stringfever were due to perform at the Allendale Centre on Sunday 22nd October.
Sadly, lead violinist Giles Broadbent passed away following a short illness. Rather than cancel the show, close friends of the family have agreed to perform too. The show is now Stringfever and Friends, and a celebration of Giles’s life.
Already confirmed to appear are comedy star Hilary O'Neil, piano virtuoso 'Harry', West End legend Jacqui Scott, singing sensation Lorraine Brown, former BBC Young Musician of the Year Nicola Loud and the delightfully irreverent Cathal Ó Dúill. Local entertainer Pete Matthews is also appearing alongside Stringfever, and no doubt more to be announced soon. Do not miss out - tickets are selling fast. This is a ONE NIGHT ONLY EVENT.

Featuring works by writers from Cornwall and across the UK, this selection of original micro-plays includes tales of how to buy the perfect gift for your unloved ones, the dark side of Christmas cracker jokes, and why you should never turn your back on a panto dame.
With brand-new stories added every year, you’ll never see the same show twice!

The Polly Morris Band Live on Stage
